39th Annual Cedar Rapids State of the City, Virtual Event
Hosted by the LWVLC Wednesday, February 23
The Linn County League of Women Voters is proud to continue the work of providing education and information to voters with the sponsorship of the 39th annual Cedar Rapids State of the City Wednesday, February 23. The new Cedar Rapids Mayor Tiffany O’Donnell will deliver her assessment of the city during the virtual presentation.
The League of Women Voters Linn County State of the City Committee met with Cedar Rapids Mayor Tiffany O’Donnell and city staff in the last week of January and discussed the upcoming State of the City, Cedar Rapids. With the continuing high metrics for COVID-19 cases in Linn County, the city requested that the event be virtual this year. “There will not be a luncheon on February 23, however, the event will launch that day, and will be available on both the city’s website as well as League’s.” discussed Jean McMenimen, President for the League of Women Voters of Linn County.
Last year the event was held virtually and, as last year, our sponsors will be represented with their logos, branding, and level of sponsorship, included in the recorded address as well as located on the city and league’s websites,
