Marion Mayor Nick AbouAssaly will deliver the Marion 28th Anniversary State of the City address to the community on March 10th, 2022 at the Marriott Hotel and Convention Center.

The previous 2020 event was sold out to a crowd of 600 guests ready to hear the mayor share the accomplishments of the city, including population growth, new subdivisions, the addition of over 200 residential units, and over 10 new businesses added to the Uptown District."We're reaching higher, putting Marion on the map, generating tremendous momentum, making a positive impact by taking care of each other, and creating amazing new opportunities for all people who call Marion their home...” Mayor AbouAsslay 2020

In 2022 the event will be held in person with safety precautions in place due to pandemic safety protocol. More information to come. Sponsored tables, tables, and seating will be available first come first serve, in a limited quantity. It is suggested to make reservations before March to sponsor or reserve a table/seat.
