LWVLC 2023 LEGISLATIVE FORUMS
ON 3RD SATURDAY IN FEBRUARY AND MARCH


CEDAR RAPIDS, IA (Jan 4, 2023) - The Linn County League of Women Voters will hold its annual nonpartisan Legislative Forums on Saturday, February 18, and Saturday, March 18. (The first forum was held Saturday, January 21st.)

The February 18 forum will be held at the Marion Public Library in Marion and March 18 forum will be held at the Kirkwood Linn Regional Center in Hiawatha.

All forums are held from 10:00-11:45 am and the public is invited to attend and submit questions to the participating legislators. The January 21st forum was held at the Kirkwood Linn Regional Center in Hiawatha.

All area legislators have been invited to participate.

House District 73 Elizabeth Wilson, House District 74 Eric Gjerde, House District 77 Jeff Cooling, House District 78 Sami Sheetz, House District 79 Tracy Ehlert, House District 80 Art Staed, House District 83 Cindy Golding, House District 84 Thomas Gerhold, Senate District 37 Molly Donahoe, Senate District 39 Liz Bennett, Senate District 40 Todd Taylor and Senate District 42 Charlie McClintock.

The League of Women Voters of Linn County is a non-profit, non-partisan, political organization that encourages citizen participation in government and does not endorse any candidates or political parties. Membership is open to any citizen 16 years and older.
